$2000 FUNDRAISER FOR JACK.ORG
OVER THE COURSE OF A YEAR, WE SOLD 100+ NEON MASKS TO RAISE MONEY FOR AN INCREDIBLE CHARITY IN CANADA, FOCUSED ON PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR YOUTH IN MENTAL HEALTH.
As a Toronto based small business, we wanted to find a Canadian charity to support during these turbulent times of the pandemic. While it’s been a tough time for us across the board, we recognized the youth has been impacted in a massively disruptive scale. Routine in everyday life, limited socialization with peers, and cancellations on huge milestone events. So we started researching non-profits in this country we can collaborate with in order to help this specific demographic, in hopes of adding back a little more light into their life.
With every purchase of a FUSE neon mask, customers were directly supporting jack.org in their initiatives & ongoing operations. Jack.org is empowers youth to be leaders in their communities, raising awareness in the mental health conversation. This organization has a unique approach of letting the kids be the ones to run the events, share testimonies- valuing the effectiveness of first-hand knowledge & candid feedback on today’s mental health realm.
We matched the funds raised from the sales of these masks, and donated $2000 to this non profit to support their activities & initiatives. It was an honor to use our creativity in LED neon lights to give back to our community in such a fun way, we want to thank everyone who supported this project and to Eric Windeler for his personalized thank you note in the mail!
